The Democratic party tried to absurdly pass a pro-Israel amendment when the vote backfired. After announcing to the crowd that the Democratic Party has changed it’s platform to include that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel, a position that is against international law and against Palestinian human rights, they proceeded to ask the crowd how many of them agreed with this change.
The majority of the people made it clear that they do not support this inclusion. After the first two votes didn’t go the way the democratic party wanted it to go, meaning the pro-Israel way, they asked for a third vote, again the majority shouted “No” but the democrats passed it anyway.
This convention has been nothing but a farce and we were waiting for the Zionist love fest to start. Obama declaring that he believes Jerusalem is the capital of Israel is very dangerous to the rights of the Palestinian people.
